Flowing Locks: Men Like Long Hair on Women

Long flowing hair is often seen as a sign of great beauty in women. So why do a lot of men prefer long hair on women? A certain theory claims that hairstyles have often been thought of as the result of cultural norms and expectations. In this light, the preference for long hair is due to the fact that long tresses require a significant amount of resources, time, and effort. It is by this assumption that women with long hair are perceived to be financially stable, confident, and concerned about their overall well-being.

There’s still a few more reasons why men prefer long tresses on women. Take this analogy: think of a valuable picture or painting which the owner tries to enhance visually. Simply using tape to post the picture or the painting to the wall wouldn’t do; the owner will have to frame it. The same idea applies to elegant-looking long hair on a woman’s head—just recall how many long-haired women in movies and TV looked absolutely majestic when their locks got caught in a gentle breeze.

Beauty standards change over time. Long hair, however, is one of a select few that has stood the test of time and isn’t likely to fade soon. So women out there can either grow their hair or wear them long whenever they want with lush virgin hair extensions.
